THE PARTICULARS
Eight characteristics that together make the difference between an ordinary luminaire above the pool and a lighting system genuinely developed for the pool environment.
LIGHT DISTRIBUTION
Every pool sets its own requirements for light distribution. The EVAline light modules are available in three optics: asymmetric, symmetric and extra wide, combinable within the same light line and exactly according to the lighting plan.
The leds sit at an angle inside the luminaire, which itself hangs straight down. That allows the luminaires to hang above the walkways without dazzling the backstroke swimmer.
One direction – above the walkways
The leds point straight down. For the general lighting of the pool hall, above the pool or above the walkways, combinable with asymmetric modules in the same light line.

The leds sit at an angle in two directions, spreading the light to both sides. For large volumes where the same level has to be achieved with fewer light lines.

PLACEMENT
EVAline is mounted above zones 1 and 2, or within zone 2. That means the luminaires can hang above the walkways, but also above the water (outside the zones).
Zone 0 is the water itself, zone 1 extends to 2 metres from the pool edge and zone 2 to 1.5 metres beyond that. The zones run to a height of 2.5 metres above the pool edge. For the approach to a complete project, from lighting plan to handover, see public pools.
THE SYSTEM
EVAline is a modular led linear lighting system in clear or black anodised aluminium. Three module types together form one continuous light line, with the light point exactly where the lighting plan requires it.
Step 1
Mounted to the ceiling with hammerhead bolts and forms the continuous carrier of the light line, including the power supply.
Step 2
Clicks onto the base module without tools, exactly where the lighting plan requires a light point. No screws means no damage and no risk of corrosion.
Step 3
Clicks on in the same way and covers the sections in between into one continuous line.

COLOUR TEMPERATURE
From warm white for a leisure pool to full spectrum for elite sport and television recording. Every colour temperature has its own colour rendering and light output. In the projects you see which choice was made for each pool type.
